Bio.
Hello! My name is Antonio Jaramillo a professional actor of Film, TV and Stage. Born and raised in Mexico as a teenager I moved to the buitiful city of San Diego ca where I discovered my love and passion for literature and the art of acting. It was there where I began working in the Theatre. Then in 2004 when I was hired to work at the Geffen Playhouse in their production of "Take me Out" by Richard Greenberg I decided to make Los Angeles my home.
Over the years I've been privileged and fortunate to find success in this crazy business by moving seamlessly from TV to Film to Theatre. Working with great artists such as Oliver Stone, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Octavia Spencer, Ray Liotta, Jennifer Lopez, Guy Pearse, Martin Campbell and many others.
Throughout my career I've occasionally coached and helped friends and colleagues with their auditions or work. From time to time I was asked "if I would ever teach" something I've never seriously considered until the passing of my artistic mentor Jeannie Hackett in June 27th of 2020. Her memory and our work together lives within me, her passion and love for the craft of acting was unrivaled.
In the summer of 2023, I finally decided to start a class to honor her! Her teaching, guidance and friendship has meant so much to me and continues to inform my work and has been instrumental to my success and to the longevity of my career thus far.
My mission is to share my knowledge and experience in the entertainment industry with others helping them to find their unique voice and explore the art within them in their journey to becoming better actors.
